This is my mask from the bead challenge last year at The Beadin' Path in Maine. The theme of the challenge was Behind the Mask. Each participant was given the same plain white paper mache mask to embellish with beads or fibers as we saw fit. Mine is completely covered with 11/0 japanese seed beads which are about 1MM each. Talk about tedious!!!!!! This took me one month working on it day and night to complete.
This years challenge is entitled The Ugly Bug! This should be fun! I'll keep you posted.
